Prof. Liang Yang

Hunan University, China

Liang Yang (Senior Member, IEEE) was born in Hunan, China. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou, China, in 2006. From 2006 to 2013, he was a Faculty Member of Jinan University, Guangzhou. He joined the Guangdong University of Technology in 2013. He is currently a Professor at Hunan University, Changsha, China. His current research interests include the performance analysis of wireless communications systems.

His research of interest includes wireless communication, optical wireless communication, and he has published more than 100 SCI journals in well-known academic journals. The H-index of Google scholar and ResearchGate is 33. He was listed in the Top 2% Scientists as per Stanford University for two years in a row. He has been the chief-director of over 5 projects of National Natural Science Foundation and 1 project of the National Key Research and Development Program. He serves on the editorial board of several international journals (such as IEEE-TCOM, IEEE-WCL, IEEE-COMML, Science China: Information Science, Journal of Communications, etc.). He won the award of outstanding doctoral dissertation of Guangdong Province in 2007, and he was the 2nd prize winner of the 2019 Hunan Natural Science Award (ranked 1st). He was elected as the 2021 Outstanding Scientific and Technological Worker of the Chinese Institute of Electronics, and the Best Editorial Board Member of the IEEE_Wireless_Communications_Letters in 2020.

 Prof. Lu Leng

Nanchang Hangkong University, China

LU LENG received his Ph.D degree from Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, P. R. China, in 2012. He performed his postdoctoral research at Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea, and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, P. R. China. He was a visiting scholar at West Virginia University, USA, and Yonsei University, South Korea. Currently, he is a full professor at Nanchang Hangkong University.

Prof. Leng has published more than 100 international journal and conference papers, including more than 60 SCI papers and three highly cited papers. He has been granted several scholarships and funding projects, including five projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). He serves as a reviewer of more than 100 international journals and conferences. His research interests include computer vision, biometric template protection and biometric recognition.Prof. Leng is an outstanding representative of "Innovation Talent" of Jiangxi Enterprise in "Science and Technology China" in 2021, received "Jiangxi Youth May Fourth Medal" in 2019, "Jiangxi Hundred-Thousand-Ten-thousand Talent Project" in 2018, "Jiangxi Voyage Project" in 2014, etc.

Assoc. Prof. Anthony Trioux

Xidian University, China

Anthony Trioux received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electronics and communication engineering from the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France (UPHF, UMR CNRS 8520), France, in 2015 and 2019, respectively. He was an Assistant professor at Centrale Lille in electrical and telecommunication engineering from 2019 to 2020 and an Associate Professor at the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France/INSA Hauts-de-France from 2020 to 2022. He is now an Associate Professor at Xidian University, School of Telecommunications Engineering, China. He acts as a reviewer for several international peer-reviewed journals and conferences (e.g., Signal Processing: Image Communications, IEEE TIP, ICIP, VCIP, ICASSP, etc.). He is also the main speaker of tutorials dedicated to “Linear Video Coding and Transmission schemes” presented at IEEE ICECS’21, EUSIPCO’22 and VCIP’22. His research interests include signal, image, video processing, image/video quality assessment and more specifically, reliable and low latency video delivery systems.
