The 5th International Conference on High Performance Computing, Big Data and Communication Engineering (ICHBC 2025) was successfully convened at the Guangzhou Research Institute of Xidian University from 17 to 19 December 2025. The conference attracted numerous experts and scholars, fostering a vibrant academic atmosphere and establishing a broad and far-reaching international cooperation platform. This event not only provided a significant opportunity for cross-regional, cross-institutional, and cross-disciplinary research collaboration but also laid a solid foundation for future project development and talent exchange. The conference was hosted by Xidian University University, organised by its Guangzhou Research Institute, with comprehensive technical support provided by AiScholar
The conference commenced smoothly under the chairmanship of Professor Celiqige from the University of Electro-Communications, Japan. Professor Chen Rui, Dean of the Guangzhou Research Institute of Xidian University, delivered the opening address. Professor Chen extended a warm welcome to the attending experts and scholars, conveyed sincere greetings and heartfelt hospitality to all participants, and expressed high expectations for the conference to yield fruitful outcomes. The conference featured five distinguished experts delivering keynote reports: Professor Min Geyong from the University of Exeter, UK; Professor Xiao Liang, IEEE Fellow and Professor at Xiamen University; Professor Gu Bo, Deputy Dean of the School of Artificial Intelligence at Sun Yat-sen University; and Professor Zhou Zhili from Guangzhou University. Each expert shared innovative research findings and profound insights in cutting-edge fields such as high-performance computing, big data, and telecommunications engineering.
